I’m just back from one of my favorite events each year. About this time each Summer I serve as a judge at Mystic Seaport’s annual Antique and Classic boat rendezvous.
This year was little light on the total number of boats exhibited, but that didn’t diminish the quality of the entries any. The shot above is showing the engine room on a fully restored 50 year old Carolina built sport fishing boat.
The owner described himself as someone who worked in the electrical field. Didn’t doing what, but he did say he did all the rewiring himself. Check out the wire and cable support. Perfect! I’ll tell you that the whole boat looked this way, inside and out. A pleasure for the eyes. This beauty got first place in class.
